I think that Easter can be an even better time for renewal, to make New Year’s Resolutions, than New Year’s Day.
Love Your Creator, Love Other People, Love Yourself
To, as Jesus said; love your Creator, love other people, love yourself.
Matthew 22:37-40
If you do not not love yourself, and set boundaries, limits, while loving other people, you can easily become a used and abused doormat.
While rewarding, and so encouraging abusers to keep on abusing.
Only reward good behaviour, not bad.
If Their Bad Behaviour Persists?
Reject them.
As Jesus said, “if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone (My Note: alone, only if it is safe to do so): if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church (My Note: not a misogynist, child-abusing church, that might victim-blame you): but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.”

Jesus healed a lot of people, of physical and psychological illnesses, by using scientifically valid methods.
Such as,
1: the faith [placebo] effect;
2: the healing touch;
3: therapeutic massage;
4: simple remedies like poultices;
5: prayer and fasting.
And, Jesus wanted everyone, not just Christians, to use his healing methods.
