Vegetable Oil Instead Of Animal Fat.
"What I want
from you is plain and clear: I want your constant love, not your
animal sacrifices."
Hosea 6:5-6.
Jesus
Jesus, referred to
Hosea, and said, "It is kindness that I want, not animal
sacrifices."
Matthew 9:13 and 12:7.
Animal Sacrifice Has Never Been A Part Of Christianity
At The Last Supper,
Jesus replaced Animal Sacrifice with Bread and Wine and said, "Do
this in memory of me."
Luke 22:19.
"Every
Jewish priest performs his services every day and offers the same
sacrifices many times; but these sacrifices can never take away sins.
Christ, however, offered one sacrifice for sins, an offering that is
effective forever, and then he sat down at the right-hand side of
God."
Hebrews 10:11-12.
A Vegetarian Or Vegan Thanksgiving
Vegetarians and Vegans do not have to eat only pumpkin, corn, and potatoes.
You can have a Thanksgiving based on bread or pancakes, wine or grape juice, and kindness.
Combined with nuts, fruits, and herbs, of Biblical times.
Nuts – almonds, carob, chestnuts, pistachios, and pine nuts.
Fruits – apricots, cherries, dates, figs, grapes, juniper berries, mulberries, and olives.
Herbs – caraway, chives, mint, oregano, parsley, rosemary, and thyme.
As well as chocolate, made from cacao, and many other native American foods, like pecans, cashews, Brazil nuts, and peanuts.
Drink bergamot, [monarda didyma], tea as the patriots did after the Boston Tea Party.
NOTE: If eating dried fruit, eat sun-dried and not sulphur-dried fruit.
And, since the sugar, in dried fruit, has become concentrated and sticky, remember to to clean your teeth afterwards.
The Thanksgiving Turkey
Slices of Tempeh can easily replace the Turkey.
Jesus would never have seen a Turkey.
Turkeys come from America – not the Middle East.
Jesus Does Not Want People To Be Full-Time Vegans
"What father among you, if his son asks for a fish, will instead of a fish give him a serpent; or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion?"
Luke 11:11-12. Also Matthew 7:9-10.
I used to be a Vegan.
I am now a Cow’s milk-drinking Vegetarian.
One can celebrate, without animal sacrifice, as Jesus asked us to do.
But, Jesus does not want people to be full-time Vegans.
And, especially, not to try to raise their babies and children as Vegans.
I Would Never Try To Raise A Baby Or Child As A Vegan
Ill-health, due to Vegan Diets, is a major reason why most Vegans become ExVegans.
And, Vegan diets for pregnant women, can lead to still-births and miscarriages.
Some babies, have become brain-damaged and died, from Vegan diets, because babies are naturally milk-drinking Vegetarians.
Even when I was a Vegan, I would never have tried to raise a baby, or a child, as a Vegan.
Most adult Vegans cannot maintain their bodies on Vegan diets.
How can a baby, or a child, build their body, on a Vegan diet?
And, even if the victim-blaming “you did not do it right” Vegans were right.
If they could not “do it right” for themselves.
How could they have “done it right” for their growing babies and children?
