Christian Countries Condemned And Abolished Slavery, 100s Of Years, Before Muslim Countries

Jesus did not have slaves.

Muhammad was an enslaver.

Slavery Was Never Legalised By English Law

England, Somerset v Stewart, 1772

Somerset v Stewart legally affirmed that enslaved people were legally free upon arriving in England.

Somerset v Stewart, a court case in England, decided on 22 June 1772, that slavery was unsupported by English common law, setting a precedent that slavery could not be enforced on English soil.

Chief Justice Lord Mansfield said slavery was “so odious”, it could not be justified by custom or tradition.

Slavery was never legally recognised under English common law; a slave could not be removed from England, against their will.

Christian Countries Abolished Slavery 100 To 200 Years Earlier Than Muslim Countries

England (1772): Somerset v Stewart established that slavery was unsupported by English common law; and set a precedent that slavery could not be enforced on English soil.

British Empire (1833): Slavery Abolition Act made slavery illegal in the British Empire.

France (1848): Final abolition of slavery in overseas colonies.

United States (1865): 13th Amendment abolished slavery after the Civil War.

Brazil (1888): The last country in the Western Hemisphere to outlaw slavery.

Muslim Countries Abolished Slavery Much Later Than Christian Countries

Legal Slavery, in the Muslim world, persisted well into the modern era, with Saudi Arabia abolishing slavery in 1962, Yemen in 1962, Oman in 1970, and Mauritania, the last country to formally abolish slavery, in 1981.

Saudi Arabia (1962): Royal decree by King Faisal formally ended legal slavery.

Yemen (1962): Abolished slavery after the fall of the monarchy.

Oman (1970): Officially abolished slavery under Sultan Qaboos.

Mauritania (1981): Last country in the world to abolish slavery.

Mauritania (1981) More 200 Years After England (1772)

Mauritania (1981), more 200 years after England (1772), Somerset v Stewart. had set a precedent that slavery could not be enforced on English soil.

Generational Child Abuse And Cult Christianities

Generational Child Abuse And Cult Christianities

Jesus said to Love Your Creator, Love Other People, Love Yourself
Matthew 22:37-40

If you love yourself, but do not not love others, you can become an abuser.

If you love others, but do not not love yourself, and set boundaries, limits, while loving other people, you can easily become a used and abused doormat.

While rewarding, and so encouraging abusers, to keep on abusing.
Only reward good behaviour, not bad.

Abusers

All sorts of people, atheists, agnostics, religious, can be abusive.

Religions, add another layer to the abuse, by claiming they have a god-given right to be abusive. And guilt you in to agreeing with them.

If they are claiming to be Christian, your can escape this religious abuse, by reading what Jesus really said about religion, and forming a direct spiritual friendship with Jesus.

Generational Child Abuse

In Generational Child Abuse, abuse becomes normalised, and not even thought of as abuse.

Usually, in dysfunctional abusive families, the father has anger management issues; the mother is an anxiety ridden wreck; and the children are repressed and depressed.

Sometimes, it is the mother who has anger management issues, and the father is anxiety ridden.

Generation after generation, these families go on to raise depressed repressed children, who go on to be the next generation of angry fathers and anxious mothers, raising their own depressed repressed children.

Animal Abuse

And, all along it can go out sideways as animal abuse.

The father hits the mother, who screams at the kids, who go out and kick the dog.

Even more complicatedly, the repressed children can seek solace with animals, but since the only way they know how to relate, is what they have copied, even unconsciously copied, from their abusive parents, instead of learning from the animal, they abuse the animal.

Escaping The Cycle

Decide you do not want to pass it on, to the next generation, by abusing your children or animals.

Learn how to relate in non-abusive ways.

Find better role models than your parents.

Watch how other people, teachers, kids at school, handle situations.

Learn from them.

Unfortunately, often the ones with the biggest messed-up lives, will be the ones most likely to tell you what to do.

Only, listen to those who know, and show in their own lives, they know.

Blasphemy

Abusers are everywhere, but misogynist Christians add another layer to abuse, misogynist Christian blasphemy.

Christian Blasphemy, is using the good name of Jesus, as a cover for doing evil.

Read What Jesus Really Said

Jesus warned against abusing children.

Warned against lording it over people.

Warned against hypocrisy.

Jesus Warning Abusive Parents

Woe to abusive parents who turn their children into atheists or towards other religions.

Matthew 18:6, But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.

Matthew 18:7, Woe to the world for the causes of sin. These stumbling blocks must come, but woe to the man through whom they come!

Service Leadership

Jesus said, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, not lord it over you; just as Jesus came serve, not to be served.

So, if your husband wants to be the Head of the Household, tell him to start serving you.

Matthew 20:25, But Jesus called them aside and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their superiors exercise authority over them.

Matthew 20:26, It shall not be this way among you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant,

Matthew 20:27, and whoever wants to be first among you must be your slave -

Matthew 20:28, just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”

Judgemental Hypocrites

Have you ever noticed that, the people most likely to interfere with your life, are often the people who most need to improve their own lives.

Maybe, the speck they see in your eye, is a reflection of the beam in their own eye.

Matthew 7:3, Why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye but fail to notice the beam in your own eye?

Matthew 7:4, How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ while there is still a beam in your own eye?

Matthew 7:5, You hypocrite! First take the beam out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

What To Do

Seek Help, If Your Husband Is Violent And Dangerous

Seek help from secular allies.
Sadly, some religious people might side with your abusive husband, and victim-blame you.

What To Do, If Your Husband Is NOT Dangerous

Fathers

If you are the abusive father, get over it, stand up to your abusive father, or let the matter drop, do not pass your abuse on to your children, the next generation.

Mothers

Stand up to your husband, if he is just verbally abusive.

If your husband is violent, too dangerous for you to stand up to, then seek help from others.

If you are the anxious mother, constantly excusing and apologising, for your abusive husband.

Stand up to your husband, if it safe for you to do so.

If not for your own sake, then for the sake of your children.

And, your children’s, children.

Do you really want your children abused?

Your grandchildren abused?

Because you were too much of a coward to protect your own children.

Something that mammals, who have never read the Gospels. instinctively do.

Children

If you are the abused child.

Wait until you are big enough.

Then stand up to your abuser.

When you are financially independent, leave.

Do not let them victim-blame you, and guilt-trip you, into blaming yourself.

And, do not pass it on to your children, or animals.

Read The Gospels

Read, what Jesus really said about child abuse, lording it over people, hypocrisy.

To defend yourself, against their blasphemy.

Similarly, With Cult Christianities

Read, Matthew 23, for what Jesus said about the abusive religion of his time.

Form a spiritual friendship with Jesus to escape from their Cult Christianity and religious abuse.

Cult Christianities Block The Way To Heaven

Cult Christianities, block the way to the Kingdom of Heaven, and abuse and make people, men, women, and children, miserable.

Matthew 23:13, Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the Kingdom of Heaven in men’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let in those who wish to enter.

Cult Christianities Make More And More Man-Made Rules To Make Life Hard For People

You do not have to keep their man-made rules.

Matthew 23:4, They tie up heavy, burdensome loads and lay them on men’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them.

Matthew 23:33, You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape the sentence of hell?
